Welcome to the Worcester Art Museum’s online Collection Search.

Here you will find a large and growing selection of objects from the Museum’s encyclopedic holdings, from ancient cultures through modern and contemporary art, including many works rarely on view. What is currently represented in our Collection Search is only a fraction of our permanent collection.  The output is constantly growing as record files are updated and objects are photographed in order to be ready for public display.  In addition to viewing organized collections, you may do a simple keyword search, or explore a variety of advanced search options.

Please keep in mind that as scholarly research advances, information is bound to change. Our records are always under review for correction or revision.  Please follow-up with our Curatorial Department should you have any questions or concerns regarding the information provided(collectionsandexhibitions@worcesterart.org).

Works under Copyright:

Through the protection of Fair Use (Section 107, title 17, U.S. Code), we are able to provide thumbnail images of works in our collection for which we do not hold the rights.

Reproducing Works:

Non-Educational/Scholarly Use of works within the Worcester Art Museum is strictly prohibited unless signed consent is obtained by the Assistant Registrar for Image Management.  If you would like to reproduce a work you have found in our online Collection Search, please click here to fill out the request form.
